Rother Valley Country Park

Rother valley country park is situated two miles from junction 31 of the m1 motorway at Mansfield road, Wales bar, Sheffield S31 8PE.

Don’t miss the opportunity to come and visit the park. It has a full range of water sports and land based activities. There is also a full range of hire equipment. Full instruction can be given in sailing canoeing, and wind surfing. The instruction in the use of a powerboat is also available.

The waters ports centre is approved by the royal yachting association and also the British canoe union. Facilities are available for disabled visitors with easy access to all parts of the park, and specialised equipment for hire.

The courtyard and craft centre stands in around 1,000 acres of park land and was based on the bedgreave mill. Visitors can experience a fully working 18th century mill within the courtyard. There is ground floor access to ground floor buildings. Also around the courtyard there are the crafts shops in which you can see a wide range of local crafts.

Sheffield & District Jet Ski Club

We are situated on the north lake. To join our club you must provide valid insurance for your craft and two passport size photographs. The cost of membership is £50.00 for a full membership (family husband, wife and children up to 18 years). Any other persons who wish to ride and are also covered by your insurance can obtain an associate membership which costs £25.00. The membership runs from April to April, you must apply yourself. When you become a member you will be given further information about the club Rules and also any information you may need about the park. For further information contact Jet Shed.
